Anime Zero Beginner Guide
Make a complete Story clear your first target. The point of the opening rolls and upgrades is to create a loadout you can use, then turn one finished run into the next useful upgrade.

Prepare in the lobby
- Confirm the LY* Roblox experience and redeem the codes you can use.
- Join the LY* community and check the in-game group reward. A launch guide places Bob by the food truck and reports 500 Gems, 5,000 Coins and 10 Lucky Spins.
- Use the Arsenal to obtain a usable carry. A launch guide recommends a Legendary as an attainable starting target, rather than immediately chasing the rarest kit.
- Equip two usable weapons and practice switching with T.
- At Matilda, keep a useful early damage Trait such as Power instead of exhausting rerolls.
- Open Skills and purchase the first paid Attack node for +15% damage.

Complete your first Story act
- Choose Story and a difficulty you can finish while learning the kit. Read the map, act and material preview before queuing.
- Clear the enemy waves in each zone. Group enemies before using area attacks so one cooldown hits several targets.
- Prioritize ranged enemies when their attacks interrupt your rotation.
- At the final boss, watch the attack cues. Move out when skills are unavailable and commit during a safe opening.
- Finish the boss, inspect the result screen and return to the lobby to use the rewards.
What to claim after a clear
- Check active daily/weekly quests and claim completed objectives.
- Check achievements and Level Road milestones for earned rewards.
- Use new Skill Tokens on the main weapon.
- Inspect its evolution requirements and one useful accessory recipe.
- Equip a title if the completed objective has unlocked one.
Fix the thing that failed
| What happened | Next action |
|---|---|
| You survive but the clear drags on | Upgrade Attack; work toward your carry’s evolution and ultimate. |
| You die while attacks are committed | Use Defense, preserve dodge/defensive skills and learn the boss cues. |
| You farmed but gained the wrong ingredient | Choose the target recipe first and read that act’s material preview. |
| You spent everything chasing a Trait | Keep a useful interim Trait and build the carry through tokens and materials. |

When to change modes
Story supplies a controlled progression route and act-specific materials. Infinite is a longer wave challenge; it becomes useful once your loadout survives longer runs. Defend focuses on its objective. Raid-exclusive weapons require their own Nightmare raid route. Move up because you can complete the objective reliably, then compare the rewards with the time and failures of that route.
Mechanics and rankings are dated public reports. Compare your current game interface when spending resources. Specific disagreements are shown beside the affected answer.
