Update 2 weapon ranking
This is a dated community PvE ranking, not an in-game rarity ladder or a measured DPS test. It weighs room coverage, bosses, cooldown gaps, survivability and investment. Order within a tier does not claim a numeric lead.

A developed raid pair
Shadow Monarch + Flame Director is the selected post-Update 2 raid pairing. Deadeye supports crit-capable damage; Supernova supports quicker rotations. Cataclysm remains a practical alternative when your Miyabi is more developed. Keep a developed carry while working toward these drops.
Choose by the fight in front of you

Why older tier lists differ
Earlier coverage placed Cursed King in S and Dragon Eclipse in A. The selected Update 2 snapshot places them in A and B and includes Mochi Commander plus the two raid weapons. Cataclysm and Hu Tao have had several protection changes; exact current timing is not established by these reports. Do not read an old i-frame description as permanent immunity.
Synergy is one part of the loadout
Cursed King + Immortal Sovereign is reported to give +10% damage. Rubber Man + Divine Emperor gives +15% maximum HP. These pair bonuses do not make every named pair superior to two stronger developed kits. The complete pair table and upgrade procedure are in Progression.
